Art Classes and Studio days

  • Morning Classes

    Come and join a 6-week morning class where you will learn how to draw and paint landscapes using proportional techniques, colour blending and adding mixed mediums. All abilities welcome and all materials are provided.

    £350 for the 6 weeks. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your place, full balance to be paid when you attend the first session.

  • Evening Classes

    On this 4-week evening course, you will learn how to draw and paint a mixed medium landscape focusing on proportions and layering of colour and texture. All abilities welcome and all materials provided.

    A non-refundable £100 deposit is required to secure your place.
    The full cost of the class is £250. The remaining balance will be due on the day of the class.

  • Studio Days

    These studio days are a place to learn or build on your existing skills as an artist and gain confidence to produce work that you can be proud of. There are various days to choose, ranging from 'wildflower meadow' days, sketching sessions and 'bring your own' workshops.

GCSE and A Level tuition

I offer monthly GCSE and A Level Art tuition sessions, held one Saturday afternoon each month. These sessions are ideal for students who want practical support and guidance with their coursework. With years of experience teaching Art and Design at Bishop Wordsworth’s School, I have a strong understanding of what’s required to achieve high marks across all assessment objectives. Each 3-hour session is limited to just four students, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. 1-4pm

Holiday and after school Art club

I will be running an after school Art Club for budding artists on Tuesday evenings 4pm - 5pm in my shop in Old George Mall. These session are only available for KS2 and KS3 students who are eager to improve their drawing, painting and creative skills.

During the holidays, these sessions will be on Tuesday mornings, rather than late afternoons running from 10 - 11:30am. Please see individual dates under 'More information' and please book your child's place in advance to avoid disappointment.
