This is a celebration of the beauty of the flora and fauna from a trip to Madeira. The combinations of the rich greens and browns of the foliage, coupled with the vibrancy of the contrasting colours of the flowers was breathtakingly stunning!. I did many studies whilst on holiday and then prepared a composition once I returned home. I have tried hard to capture the saturation of colour, but nothing can really mimic the vibrancy of the real thing.
