This painting is of the River Avon in Salisbury in Queen Elizabeth Gardens. It is a favourite place for paddle boarding and swimming in the summer. The river is very low at the moment because of the dry weather and you can very clearly see the river bed under the moving water. There were lots of layers in making this one and some translucent glod paint too.
