This view is an iconic one from the Cornwall coast line. Because I don't use the grid method, this painting took me just as long to draw as it did to paint! Every window, door and brick, had to be in the right place to make sure I did it justice. The light in St. Ives is just spectacular, and I hope I have managed to capture something of that light here.
