My paintings derive from a deep sense of love for nature. Our lives are often overloaded and it’s my desire to produce paintings that bring hope and peace in a busy world. I am passionate about the beauty that surrounds us and take pleasure in painting landscapes in a semi-realistic, impressionistic way. I always seek to capture an atmosphere, whether that’s stillness, awe, joy or tranquility. I use multiple layers, mediums and colours to create soothing moods to escape into. I have an Art and Design degree from Winchester University, I used to teach Art at Bishop Wordsworth’s School in Salisbury but now I run a Gallery/Shop hosting my artwork, in the City centre. My time is spent by producing my own art, running art classes, and painting murals. I derive a lot of pleasure painting and drawing, and it gives me such joy to create artwork that inspires and captivates others.
