I am a huge advocate of public art and believe that adding artwork to spaces can enhance and brighten up an area as well as bring a sense of joy to the community.

 A large department store in the heart of our city closed, and hoardings were erected along its fascia. After some negotiations and a design approval, the owners of the building and the city council allowed me to paint the 32m x 3m mural. Working on such a large scale was a challenge that I thoroughly enjoyed, so along with the help of some willing students from the school I work in, we brought the countryside into the city.
