This was painted in the gallery/shop that ran from 25th May until the 9th June. It’s of a beautiful birch tree in the Cathedral close. I was mesmerised by the dappling light on the bark and branches and the fresh greens of the Spring leaves moving in the wind. This is an acrylic painting with added textural areas with oil pastel on canvas.
