The Avenue, as it is fondly known, is actually a Roman road that runs east to west in Grovely woods near to where I live. It is steeped in history and mysterious tales. I love walking there whatever time of year, this scene is from late Autumn, most of the leaves had fallen and there was a crispness in the air.
